Un '''split''', de l'anglais scission/division, est un terme qui désigne la [[Lock|fermeture]] automatique d'un [[Topic|topic]] pour l'ouverture d'un autre suite au dépassement du nombre maximum de messages (100.000). Le [[topic]] splitté a pour icône un [[Cadenas|cadenas]], comme pour les topics lockés normaux.

Un [[topic]] splitté a pour icône un cadenas, comme pour les topics [[Lock|lockés]] normaux.
 
Lorsqu'un topic atteint son 100 000e message (soit 5 000 pages), il sera automatiquement [[Lock|locké]], et un autre [[topic]] du même nom s'ouvrira. Le 100 000e message devient le premier message du nouveau topic.
 
Lorsqu'un topic approche du split, une effervescence générale se fait sur le topic où chaque forumeur a tendance à beaucoup poster pour faire advenir le split plus rapidement. Arriver à poster le 100.000ème message et donc à être le premier post du nouveau topic est quelque chose de très recherché, et vécu comme une réalisation personnelle. En général les forumeurs postent un simple « SPLIT ! » accompagnés du [[smiley]] fête {{fete}}
 
Un même topic peut spliter plusieurs fois au cours de son existence.

Un split, de l'anglais scission/division, est un terme qui désigne la fermeture automatique d'un topic pour l'ouverture d'un autre suite au dépassement du nombre maximum de messages (100.000).

Fonctionnement[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

Le split a vu le jour le 21 juillet 2008 pour "limiter le lag des serveurs lorsqu'on opère sur un gros topic" selon les dires de Dargor, technicien du site à l'origine de cette fonctionnalité. Il l'annonce sur un topic du forum Communauté[1].

Un topic splitté a pour icône un cadenas, comme pour les topics lockés normaux.

Lorsqu'un topic atteint son 100 000e message (soit 5 000 pages), il sera automatiquement locké, et un autre topic du même nom s'ouvrira. Le 100 000e message devient le premier message du nouveau topic.

Lorsqu'un topic approche du split, une effervescence générale se fait sur le topic où chaque forumeur a tendance à beaucoup poster pour faire advenir le split plus rapidement. Arriver à poster le 100.000ème message et donc à être le premier post du nouveau topic est quelque chose de très recherché, et vécu comme une réalisation personnelle. En général les forumeurs postent un simple « SPLIT ! » accompagnés du smiley fête :-)

Un même topic peut spliter plusieurs fois au cours de son existence.

Records[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

Le topic qui a connu le plus de split est le Shandora, sur le forum Blabla moins de 15 ans. C'est accessoirement le plus gros topic jamais créé sur les forums de Jeuxvideo.com.

Le topic ayant splitté le plus rapidement est: Split le plus rapide, sur le forum Blabla 15-18. Le split a été réalisé en 1h58 dans la nuit du 10ème anniversaire des forums Blabla.

Bugs[modifier | modifier le wikicode]

Parfois, le split occasionne des bugs non souhaités.

Exemple, le topic Gogotism sur le Blabla 15-18 ans, dont le split a généré deux nouveaux topics au lieu d'un lorsqu'il a atteint 100.000 messages.
